At about 15:00 on August 1, 2024, a poisoning accident occurred in Yinnuo Agricultural and Livestock Products Comprehensive Market in Maqu County, Gannan Prefecture, Gansu Province. The restaurant owner and an employee were in danger while clearing the septic tank. A takeaway driver and a courier found out and went to rescue them, but they were all poisoned to death. The cause of the accident is currently under investigation.
